Dr. Chen David began his professional career at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 1975. He then specialized in general and vascular surgery at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv from 1977 to 1985.
Between 1986 and 1988, he specialized in vascular surgery at Charing Cross Hospital in London (one of the leading vascular departments in Europe).
